Perception of multimodal approach in teaching Anatomy among Kashmiri undergraduate medical students for better learning and effective teaching

Introduction: Anatomy is a major subject that usually considered to be toughest and presents itself as one of the most challenging subjects in medical education. Anatomical knowledge students greatly affected by effective teaching methods engagement multiple learning modalities has been shown promote learning. This study aimed evaluate Perception multimodal approach among Kashmiri undergraduate for better teaching.Methodology: cross-sectional was conducted 75 first MBBS SKIMS Medical College Department Anatomy. sought validated questionnaire. The completed questionnaires were returned only 72 interpreted after studying filled questionnaires.Results: Majority opinion difficult pre-clinical them believed it essential incorporate advancements 55.55 % clinically oriented will improve anatomy teaching. Respondent’s perceived significantly greater usefulness Web based applications incorporating imaging such MRI, CT Ultrasound understanding subject.Conclusion: Teaching can become interesting. Incorporation conceptual advanced virtual three dimensional aids are required along with traditional didactic lectures providing successful integrated basic sciences concepts.
